Getting Started with FabOps

Set up governance-first intelligence for Microsoft Fabric in under 15 minutes.

Prerequisites

  • Active Microsoft Fabric capacity (F2 or higher)
  • Fabric Admin or Capacity Admin permissions
  • Azure subscription with billing access

Setup Steps

Install from Azure Marketplace

Navigate to the Azure Marketplace and search for "FabOps" or use the direct link below. Click "Get It Now" and follow the subscription prompts.

Connect Your Fabric Tenant

After installation, open FabOps from your Fabric workspace. Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorise the connection to your Fabric tenant.

Configure Workspaces

Select which workspaces FabOps should monitor. You can start with a single workspace and expand later. FabOps will begin collecting governance data immediately.

View Your Governance Score

Within minutes, you'll see your first Governance Score. This baseline score helps you understand your current state and track improvements over time.
