Getting Started with FabOps

Onboarding time depends on the estate, security approvals and selected FabOps service level.

Prerequisites

  • Microsoft Fabric capacity and tenant scope confirmed during qualification
  • Fabric Admin or Capacity Admin permissions
  • Azure subscription with billing access

Setup Steps

Install from Azure Marketplace

Navigate to the Azure Marketplace and search for "FabOps" or use the direct link below. Click "Get It Now" and follow the subscription prompts.

Connect Your Fabric Tenant

After installation, open FabOps from your Fabric workspace. Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorise the connection to your Fabric tenant.

Configure Workspaces

Select which workspaces FabOps should monitor. Collection begins after permissions, scope and the selected architecture have been validated.

View Your Governance Score

The first useful assessment is produced after the agreed estate scope, permissions and evidence sources have been validated.
